Self cleaning screen mesh, also known as anti-clogging screen mesh, can be made of various kinds of steel wires, such as high-carbon steel wire, spring steel wire, manganese steel wire, galvanized steel wire and stainless steel wire, working as the coat of vibrating screens, known as well as shale shakers.

As the name tells, self cleaning screen mesh enjoys excellent performance of anti-clogging, which conduces to the increase of the separating and screening efficiency and decrease in the percentage of plugged hole remarkably.

General specifications:
Material: high-carbon steel wire, spring steel wire, manganese steel wire, galvanized steel wire and stainless steel wire. 
Thickness: 1.2mm - 5mm.
Size of screen surface: width≦1500mm, length≦2900mm.
Connection type: hook, bolt or layering(depression bar).

Depending on the placement of the wavy wires and their connection type, we can divide self cleaning wire mesh into following two types:

Type K  

This type of screen mesh is made of round wavy wires, curved on the working surface. Wires placed one next to another create openings similar to a square. Working wires are buckled together with transversive wires assisted by polyurethane bar, rubber bar or wires inside plastic cover.

Opening sizes: 1.5 - 35 mm
Wire diameter: 0.5 - 5mm 

Type T

This type of screen mesh is mainly produced with two kinds of wires which are straightly and wavily fixed on the working surface alternantly. Working size of W opening is created by the diameter of the circle written into this opening. Straight, round wires have a slightly larger diameter then wavy ones. This series of screens characterizes with high ability to withstand heavy loads (owing to very well stretched straight wires)and good self-cleaning effect, obtained by self – oscillation of wavy wires. Wires in this series of screens can be connected with each other through wire knots, polyurethane bar, rubber bar or transverse wires inside plastic cover.
